Paige B. Segrera joined the firm in September 2009 as an Associate. Mrs. Segrera focuses her practice on counseling, defending, and litigating matters for national and global insurer clients in state and federal courts. She assists clients in the investigation of and provides coverage opinions in first party insurance claims.

Mrs. Segrera was a nationally ranked junior tennis player. She attended the University of Virginia on a full athletic scholarship, playing the #1 position during her second, third, and fourth years.

Experience

Before joining the firm, Mrs. Segrera provided general counsel support to a small wealth management company involved primarily in preserving and growing individual and corporate clients’ wealth through a variety of insurance transactions.

Mrs. Segrera has also represented a wide variety of clients and was involved in all aspects of commercial litigation matters, including insurance coverage, contract disputes, employment disputes, class actions and complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal court.

Recognition

While in law school, Mrs. Segrera served as Executive Comments Editor for the FIU Law Review and as a member of the Board of Advocates. As a law student, Mrs. Segrera served as an intern to the Honorable Jennifer Bailey of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Honorable Shelby Highsmith of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Miami, Florida.
