Kristina Tilson joined the firm in April 2014 as an Associate. Mrs. Tilson focuses her practice on both first party insurance and third party liability claims.

Experience

Mrs. Tilson has interned for two appellate court judges, the Honorable Vanessa Ruiz of the D.C. Court of Appeals, a court of last resort, and the Honorable James Kenney III of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, a court of intermediary jurisdiction.

Before joining the firm, Mrs. Tilson worked as a staff attorney litigating cases for Florida’s fastest growing automobile insurance company. She also served as the company’s in-house appellate attorney, and advised senior management.

Mrs. Tilson’s experience including evaluating and litigating first party claims, providing coverage opinions and representing parties in all aspects of civil litigation.

Mrs. Tilson also has ten years of experience managing multi-family commercial real estate properties in South Florida.

Recognition

While in law school, Mrs. Tilson was a Constitutional Law Moot Court Associate, ranking in the top 10% in national oral and written advocacy competitions. She also served as a criminal law teaching assistant for two semesters, and was awarded multiple grants for work in the public interest sector. While in college she was awarded a grant by Eli Lilly for research she conducted in Belfast, Northern Ireland on conflict resolution.
